KUALA LUMPUR: All State health directors and doctors nationwide have been told to be on high alert for a potential dengue epidemic due to a high number of cases last week.


The Health Ministry is gearing for an epidemic in view of the current monsoon season.

Health Ministry Deputy DG Datuk Dr Hasan Abdul Rahman said an epidemic will arise if people do not cooperate.

There were three death cases recorded last week.
